banana fritters recipe is a traditional malayali recipe .These sweet treats only takes 25 mins to rustle up and are a sure fire favourite with kids, especially served with a scoop of ice cream.

Ingredients

Ripe Bananas - 2, sliced

For the batter

Atta/Plain flour - ½ cup(refer notes)

Rice flour - 1 tbsp

Sugar - 1-2 tbsp, depending on the ripeness of banana

Salt - to taste

Water - ¾ cup - 1 cup

Directions

1Peel bananas and slice it as per your liking. You can slice it into big pieces or small ones. after that, Make the batter with flour, rice flour, sugar, salt and water. The batter should be thicker than idli batter. Dip the sliced bananas in the batter. Heat oil. The oil should be really hot, but not smoking hot. Deep fry the bananas till golden brown. Drain excess oil and serve hot.
