1Sprinkle beef with salt and pepper.
2Heat 2 tbsp oil in heavy large pot over high heat.
3add beef to pot and brown on all sides.
4using the spoon transfer to plate.
5heat remaining 1tbsp oil in same pot over medium-high heat.add some onions and saute till the color changes to brown about 7 minutes.Then return the beef to pot.
6add mixtture of cinnamon sticks,,garlic,cloves,cinnamon ,bay leaf and dried red pepper to a pot.
7Then stir about 1minute.
8stir in chutney,milk.tomatoes,lemon juice,ginger,milk,tomatoes
9reduce heat,and simmer until beef is tender.
10Stir in milk, tomatoes, chutney, lemon juice, ginger,o boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer until beef is tender, stirring occasionally, about 2 hours.
