1First Grease baking tin of an "8” diameter and dust it with flour.
2Pre heat the oven to 1800 C.
3Sieve together maida, baking powder,cocoa powder and soda bicarbonate.
4Soften butter,don't melt it and add nestle milkmaid Sweetened Condensed Milk.Then beat well.
5Add the vanilla essence.
6Add maida mixture and aerated soda alternately to the batter.
7Pour the batter into the baking tin.
8bake it in the preheated oven till the tooth pick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean.
9it takes around 40-50 minutes.
10After that Remove from oven, cool for a while.
11Loosen sides of cake, using a knife if necessary.
12Turnout over a wire rack or plate and cool slightly before cutting horizontally into two.
13Drain & destone cherries, soak with cherry syrup on both cake halves .
14Whip cream and sugar till light and fluffy, Sandwich the two layers of cake with whipped cream and chopped cherries. Top with whipped cream and cherries, sprinkle generously with grated chocolate. Chill and serve.
