mushroom manchurian is a indo chinese dish.anyone who likes mushrooms, definetely love this reicpe too.

Green chilly(chopped) - 2 numbers.

Onion(chopped) - 1 number.

Garlic(chopped) - 1 tea spoon.

Ginger(chopped) - 1 tea spoon.

Oil - to fry.

All purpose flour - 3 tablespoons.

Corn starch - 4 tablespoons.

Coriander chopped - 1 tablespoon.

Chilly powder - 1/4 tea spoon.

Salt - to taste.

Potatoes(grated) - 1 number.

Mushrooms - 250 grams.

Spring onions chopped (white) - 1 tablespoon.

Soya sauce - 1 tea spoon.

Vinegar - 1 tea spoon.

Msg (optional) - 1 pinch.

Sugar - 1 pinch.

Chilly sauce - 1 tea spoon.

Spring onion green(chopped) - 1 tablespoon.


1First, remove the stems of mushrooms and chopped them.

2In a bowl add mushroom stems chopped, grated boiled potatoes, salt, a pinch of chilly powder, chopped coriander, 1 tablespoon cornstarch mix it like a dough and stuff in the mushrooms.

3In another bowl add all purpose flour, cornstarch, salt, water, mix it like a batter and Manchurian mushrooms dip it into the batter and deep fry them.

4Then,heat oil in a pan and add choped ginger,garlic cook it until raw flavor is gone.

5Add chopped onions, salt, chopped green chilly, spring onion white part, chilly powder, Soya sauce, vinegar, MSG (optional) sugar, chili sauce, chopped coriander, saute it.

6Finally add fried mushrooms toss it and add spring onion green part, switch off the flame.
