veg fried rice is the perfect way to include the veggies in your kids.

  • Prep: 5 mins
  • Cook: 20 mins


1 Tbsp oil

2-3 cloves garlic, chopped

1 red chilli, chopped

1 Tbsp carrots, chopped

3-4 baby corn, chopped

4-5 Tbsp cabbage, diced

1/2 Tbsp sesame oil

4-5 green beans, chopped

Salt, to taste

Pepper, to taste

1 tsp soy sauce

2-3 Tbsp wine (optional)

Spring onion greens, to garnish


1In a pan add 1 Tbsp oil, garlic and chilli. Saute.

2Add carrots, baby corn, green beans and cabbage.

3Saute and add sesame oil.

4 Add the rice.

5Season with salt and pepper, soy sauce and wine.

6 Cook for a minute.

7Serve hot garnished with some chopped spring onion greens.
